✨ What is it?
POWER STRANGERS brings together the international community of Nantes — both foreigners and french locals who have lived and worked abroad and now call Nantes home 🏡.
Our mission is to make Nantes more international by helping people like you connect with like-minded individuals and truly feel at home here. We are not a business networking club, but a group of over 250 working adults who come from or lived in 40+ countries before settling down in Nantes.
We organize several gatherings every month to make new friends, share stories, and support one another. English only is spoken (except for “Families’ get together” since not all kiddos speak english) and we keep things casual, respectful, and welcoming.
- After work meetups (1st Thursday & 3rd Monday of the month 6-10pm)
- Families get together (Last Sunday of the month over/ after lunch)
- Business Lunches (2nd Friday of the month)
- We use WhatsApp to keep in touch and You can join several groups based on your interests:
- Announcements: To get notified of upcoming events
- General & News: To keep up with the latest news and plans of PS
- Parents’ corner: To organise get together, share tips and ask for help
- Sports: To organise sports’ sessions and share tips
- Business corner: To help you grow and manage your businesses (for business owners/ entrepreneurs only)
- Jobs & People search: To find people and/or work and share tips
- Official Stuff & paperwork: To share tips and ask for help
- Share/ Borrow/ Give away stuff: so we buy less stuff
- Random or funny: *for everything else including ***sharing a laugh
